KFUM Oslo has loaned Moussa Njie to Moss FK for the remainder of the 2026 season. The 30-year-old left winger completed the switch on a loan deal on Wednesday, 2 September, and will return to KFUM when the agreement expires on 31 December.
Njie remains under contract with KFUM Oslo until the end of the year. The loan places the right-footed attacker in Norway's second tier for the final months of the calendar year. The move came after KFUM Oslo suffered a 4-1 defeat to Start, a result that left the team 13th in the Eliteserien with 19 points from 18 matches.
Moussa Njie is a familiar face at Moss, having already played for the club during the 2026 campaign. He made three appearances and played 180 minutes in the Norsk Tipping-ligaen avdeling 1 this year, starting half of those matches. However, he had not featured in either the NM Cup or the Eliteserien for Moss before this loan move was registered.
Standing 1.85m tall with a market value estimated at €200,000, Njie brings top-flight experience to Moss's attack. His natural position is on the left wing, providing the manager with an option on the flank. The club currently competes in the OBOS-ligaen, and Njie's arrival is intended to bolster their offense in the promotion race.
The Oslo-born player has been part of KFUM Oslo since March 2022. He joined the club on a free transfer from Sandefjord, with no fee involved. During his time at KFUM, he has been part of the team's journey in the Eliteserien, which has currently scored 20 goals and conceded 31 in 18 league rounds.
Prior to signing for KFUM, Njie had a varied career path. He started in Vålerenga's youth academy before moving to Brum in 2015. Later, he had spells at Partizan, a loan move to Odd in 2019, and a short stint at Sandefjord in 2021. After leaving Partizan in February 2020, he was without a club for a period before finding his way to Sandefjord.
The loan of Njie occurs as KFUM Oslo is going through a difficult spell. The team has lost its last two matches and sits 25 points behind league leaders Bodø/Glimt. The manager must now consider his options on the left wing without Njie available for the upcoming fixtures.
This decision could give other players in the squad a chance to prove themselves. Supporters can follow the squad developments on our squad page. The team's next challenge is an away match against Molde, who are fourth in the table, on Sunday, 6 September.
The deal is a pure loan lasting until the end of 2026, meaning Moussa Njie formally remains a KFUM player. His long-term future at the club will be assessed at the year's end when the loan period concludes. Until then, he will gather playing time and competitive experience in the OBOS-ligaen with Moss.
For KFUM Oslo, the focus is now on stabilising results after a loss to Start and a general scoring issue. The team's statistics, including a negative goal difference of -11, can be examined further on our stats page. The next match against Molde will be an important test of the team's ability to turn the trend around.
