KFUM Oslo will play their postponed Norwegian Cup match against Hønefoss on Wednesday. The second round tie takes place at AKA Arena with a 6pm local kick-off.

The match was originally scheduled for 9th September but was postponed due to the funeral of King Harald. For KFUM, it comes after a short autumn break and two consecutive wins in the Eliteserien. They beat both Aalesund and Sarpsborg 08 before the break and sit tenth in the league with 25 points.

A club representative said the team has had a habit of going far in the cup in recent years, and that they must beat Hønefoss on Wednesday to recreate that.

The opponents from the 2. Divisjon have won five of their last six matches, but their last game was over a year ago. KFUM Oslo, however, have been active and won 3-1 away at Sarpsborg 08 last weekend. Bjørn Martin Kristensen, Håkon Helland Hoseth and Julian Bakkeli Gonstad scored in that match.

After the cup tie, an important league match against Vålerenga at home awaits on 12th October.
